Cronulla Surf Club Redevelopment

Council is providing a compound for the redevelopment works being undertaken by Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club.

Works start date: May 2018

Works end date: Jun 2018

Works location: Grassed area of the park, between the access road and Cronulla RSL Club - 22R Gerrale Street, Cronulla. View on map

Reason for works

Council are assisting Cronulla Surf Life Saving Club with a compound area due to the lack of available space along the Esplanade adjacent to their work site.

Scope of works

The southern section of Cronulla Park between the access road and Cronulla RSL Club will be fenced off to separate pedestrians from construction traffic and to divert traffic from Gerrale Street car park.

The site will be reinstated on completion of the works.

Project schedule

  • Commencement - May 2018
  • Estimate completion - June 2019

Public impacts during construction

The grassed area between the internal pathway, the access road and Cronulla RSL Club will be unavailable to the public for the duration of the works.
