Bring your family and friends along to this free community event to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history, culture and achievements.

Our NAIDOC Week event is still going ahead but will be moving indoors to the hall with a reduced program of kids activities.

New indoors program:

10:00am Welcome Celebration

11:00am to 3:00pm Col Hardy Band, variety of stall holders, weaving and shell art activity, Bunnings art & craft area with airbrush tattoos, photo with Sharks NRL mascot ‘Reefy’, art display, sausage sizzle and coffee van!

11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm kids cultural workshop 




Sutherland Shire has a long-standing and significant history. The original inhabitants of this area, which is now known as Sutherland Shire, were clans of the Dharawal language group. There is evidence of Aboriginal settlement dating back between 8,000 and 9,000 years ago.
