Grant amount: Heritage Building Grants: a total amount of $30,000 to be distributed on a dollar for dollar basis between successful applications.

Heritage Publication Grants: $5,000

What the grant is for

Financial support to conserve heritage listed buildings or funding to support the initiation of a heritage project.

Who can apply?

  • Owners and their agents of heritage buildings that are listed in the Schedule 5 of the Sutherland Shire Local Environmental Plan 2015 may apply for dollar for dollar grants to assist in the restoration of heritage listed properties under council's Heritage Grants Program.
  • Authors may apply for funds to publish original works contributing to the information and education of the public about the heritage of Sutherland Shire.

Submitting either Heritage Building Fund Application or the Heritage Publication Application.

Selection process

All funding decisions are recommended by council's Heritage sub committee. See Terms and Conditions for Heritage Building Grants and Guidelines for the Publication Grant Program.
