Sutherland Shire Council undertakes its procurement activities in accordance with NSW Local Government Act 1993 and Local Government (General) Regulation 2005 (Part 7 - Tendering).

Council is committed to the use of best practice contracting and procurement principles, policies and procedures to ensure a fair and transparent tender process, and achieve value for money and quality in the acquisition of goods, services and works.

Council's Statement of Business Ethics demonstrates the ethical standards that Councillors, staff and delegates are bound by, and the requirements of suppliers, consultants and contractors in dealing with Council.

Vendor Panel

Vendor Panel is an electronic tendering portal used by Sutherland Shire Council to simplify the tender process for both our organisation and our suppliers. Posted on this portal are our Requests for Tenders (RFT) Requests for Quotations (RFQ) and Expression of Interest (EOI). As a supplier you can register free of charge which will enable access to download documentation , ask questions and respond online saving you valuable time.
